The Auto Club Revolution is a free-to-play online racing game which allows users to race and customize real world cars. BMW collaborated with the game creators, Eutechnyx, to launch an exclusive "BMW Experience" page. A chance for those who always wanted to experience the feeling of driving a sports car without emptying their bank accounts

BMW has announced the launch of ‘BMW Experience’, an exclusive page on the popular Auto Club Revolution gaming website, which allows users to experience the BMW 1 Series Coupe on an exclusively developed race track. The free-to-play website requires players to register themselves on the site and install an app onto their device before they can start playing.
“Our customers are tech-savvy and love to be able to put their dream car together the way they want. Auto Club Revolution has the possibility to make our models accessible to a large number of car enthusiasts,” said Andreas-Christoph Hofmann, Vice President Brand Communication BMW. Both companies claim that the cars in the game handle as real as it can get to their on-road counterparts. “To reproduce the handling of the BMW 1 Series M Coupe in Auto Club Revolution in an authentic manner, we first took it out on the real racetrack. That is the only way to know exactly how the car corners, for example,” said Doug Wolff, Auto Club Revolution Team Lead.

The players can transfer their BMW 1 Series M Coupe to the main game once they have finished playing the preview level. Auto Club Revolution is a pretty popular online free-to-play racing game which allows users to test, race, customize and add optional features (for a price) to a real world car. The game features cars from around 40 car manufacturers, all of them meticulously developed by Eutechnyx with help from the respective manufacturers. Manufacturers may feature concepts and showcase concept cars on the site too. The game also features social features which allow players to interact, form groups and debate topics with other enthusiasts registered on the site. The game has been in development since late 2010 and the open beta version of the site went live in March. Eutechnyx is an independent game developer established in 1987.
